Jay Bailey

Auctioneer-Broker Jay Bailey is 4th generation in the auction business.
Great granddad Luther Bailey was a tobacco auctioneer from Murray, Kentucky.
Grandfather Raleigh Bailey worked at the St. Louis Stock Yards virtually his entire life.
His father bought and sold livestock to put himself through medical school.
Jay began riding horses in the auction ring in Kansas City at the ripe old age of 6.
That was over 4 decades ago.In 1986

Jay became a licensed agent in Missouri to do real estate appraisals.
Back then there was no separate appraisal license.
He became a Missouri real estate broker in 1988.
In 1991 Jay received the coveted "SRA" designation from the Appraisal Institute in Chicago.
This is as far as anyone can go in residential and small commercial valuation.
In 1994 Mr. Bailey graduated from the Missouri Auction School, the "Harvard" of auction schools in the nation.

In his spare time Mr. Bailey became a permitted real estate instuctor and appraisal instructor in the state of Missouri.
He has literally trained and instructed thousands of brokers and agents in the real estate laws of Missouri.

The brokerage has always been real estate at auction based.
Jay's worked has taken him to New York, Atlanta, Missouri, Missouri, Texas, California, Virginia and today is Licensed in Missouri, Missouri, Kentucky and soon California as a real estate broker.
He is licensed in Missouri, Missouri and California as an auctioneer.

Jay's auction experience includes real estate, business liquidations, jewelry auctions, charity and black tie affairs, cars, boats, antiques and general household merchandize.
That's a lot of auctions!
